Squid Tube
Recipe - Stuffed Squid Tubes :
- Prepare the Filling: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion until soft (3-4 minutes), then add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat and let cool. In a bowl, mix cooked rice, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, red pepper flakes, oregano, sautéed onion and garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the Squid Tubes : Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Carefully stuff each squid tube with the filling, leaving some space at the end. Secure with toothpicks or twine.
- Bake the Stuffed Squid: Place stuffed squid in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, or pour marinara sauce over them. Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes until tender.
- Serve: Let the squid cool slightly, slice, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with extra marinara sauce.
